Planning for the Sustainability Challenges of Tomorrow

Free Entry

Register above to Greening the UK's town planning conference on the use of green space and planting in urban communities.

This timely event will provide delegates with a comprehensive overview of recent developments in planning best practice and scientific research.  It will deliver an in depth analysis of how local authorities and other interested bodies can react to the new localism agenda and run with it to deliver environmental and social objectives.  It will help you to contextualise how and why a more intelligent use of green space and planting in the planning system can deliver significant improvements to the local communities.

The conference will focus on how green space and planting can:

  • Enable local authorities to meet Local Area Agreements targets;
  • Improve the local environment;
  • Help urban communities mitigate and adapt to climate change;
  • Deliver economic development;
  • Produce healthier, safer and more vibrant communities.
